Rescued by a concerned citizen from an abusive situation outside of a local drinking venue, this girl is safe and sound now. She's full of love and ready to curl up on a willing lap.

Ming is a sweet little boy who enjoys attention. He's been known to "adopt" the younger kittens in his foster home and give them a good bath when needed.

Sonny

Rottie/Border Collie blend

DOB: 01/01/08

Sonny is a sweet boy who loves people and being near them. He is kennel-trained and finds his kennel quite a relaxing place. He has attended PAWS Manner Classes and did very well. Sonny walks well on a leash. He's friendly with other dogs and is kind to cats. He loves to play fetch and "talking" to rocks!

SPECIAL NEEDS

Parker is kind of a loner but he will occasionally make time for a quick wrestle with his foster siblings. He enjoys listening to human speech, often mocking it silently. He will agree to short petting sessions that don't go to the "being held" stage......just because he's not that kind of kitty!

This girl is full of energy, enjoys a bit of rough play and is eager to learn. She knows sit, is kennel-trained and loves her rope toys.

Bugsy

DSH Classic Orange Tabby

These siblings (see Nadia on Happy Homes page) love to wrestle and then cuddle up and share naptime. Bugsy is a spunky little guy who instantly purrs when picked up and loves toys. Nadia is not as big of a fan of being held, but she enjoys being petted and likes to scamper.

DOB: 08/04/05

Ginny is a friendly and sweet dog once you get to know her. She's a bit insecure around strangers and is nervous when people she doesn't know pet her-sometimes leading to barking. She is good with kids and one of her favorite things to do is curl up on the couch with her favorite person. Ginny will dig in the garden and find things to get into if left alone. She is hesitant about going in her kennel during the day, but will sleep in it at night. She enjoys fetch and tug-o-war; plays nicely with the resident dog but can be a little rough; and knows how to sit and patiently wait for her leash to be put on. She does well in the car and will stay where she is suppose to. She also seems to enjoy baths. Ginny would do well with someone who could spend a lot of time with her. She loves the water and swimming seems to be a favorite thing for her to do.

Jade

Jade is a very energetic girl who loves attention. She's eager to learn and gets along well with other dogs.

Indiana

Indiana is a very sweet German Shephard-Collie blend. She is very friendly,
loving and has lots of energy. Indiana likes all people but thinks kids are
way more fun than adults. She is very social with other dogs and longs for
their company. She also wants to be buddies with the household cats but
they don't always feel the same. She is very curious and would like to be a part of everything her family does. Indiana is very smart and learns exceptionally fast. She knows all her basic commands, is house trained and kennel trained. She wants to learn everything her family takes time to teach her and her knowledge will only
be limited by the effort her family puts in. Indiana loves to run. Her favorite activity is running beside a bicycle. She would really like to be someone's jogging partner. If you don't feel like running today she'll convince you!

Say "Hi" to Colin! He's very thin and kind of sorry looking at the moment. Very sweet and likes people very much; do you have room in your heart and home for this little guy?

Buster is a happy go-lucky boy who loves other dogs and all people. He is very lovable with loads of personality. He's learning to sit and walk nicely on a leash with her new foster family.

Foxxy Brown

Foxxy Brown is a sweet tiny little girl, weighing in around 30lbs. She's settling in well at her new foster home and starting to learn her manners.

Bettie (along with sister Belle-adopted) are cuddle machines. Bettie suffered a broken tail prior to PAWS care. It has healed but has left a bend. Got room on your lap for this lady?

Sophi is a german shepherd blend girl who's as cute as ever. She gets along well with other dogs and is quiet in house.

Treff

Shepherd/collie blend

DOB: 09/08/09

Treff was discovered by his foster mom as she was driving down Crescent Road and witnessed an individual dumping puppies off from his car. Treff was almost hit but luckily, his foster mom was able to rescue him. It's unknown at this time what happened to his siblings. Treff is a busy little guy who's upbeat and full of fun.

Jiggs

Shih-Tzu blend

DOB: 12/01/07

Meet Jiggs! He's a shih-tzu blend with probably some Poodle. He is really an animated Teddy Bear. Jiggs has some behaviors that indicate he has spent much of his time in a kennel. He twirls quite a lot when in the kennel and often when he's out of the kennel as well. Jiggs needs consistency and is working on improving his toilet training. Every day of freedom is a sweet experience for this tiny little boy. He is full of spirit and he does a funny little dance while waving his right paw as he greets you. He needs a chance to be the dog he was meant to be!
