Muir is a sweet quiet boy who doesn't need to be cuddled.  He loves people but isn't crazy about being picked up. He has been bullied by other cats occasionally so is very cautious when meeting a new friend. He will blossom in a single cat home although he has always lived with other cats.

Lana is active and curious and likes games involving batting at toys on a string or chasing a laser light beam. She enjoys being petted when she decides it's time and would rather not be picked up.  Lana prefers to be up on a cat tree where she can tap you on the head as you pass by. She will tolerate other cats but likes to have her own space.  Lana is a long-term PAWS gal and would love a home to call her own.

Ming

Ming is a sweet little boy who enjoys attention.  He's been known to "adopt" the younger kittens in his foster home and give them a good bath when needed. He is very playful and enjoys cuddling on a cozy lap where he will purr for hours. He is a quiet, gentle cat who just wants a kind person to love him.

Currently the "Top Cat" in his foster home, Sun makes sure all newcomers follow the rules.  He enjoys a nice belly rub once he gets to know you and is always up for a game of catch the fish. Sun likes being with adults but is a bit stand-offish with children. He thrives on attention and lots of affection and will always sit on a lap if invited.

Parker is kind of a loner but he will occasionally make time for a quick wrestle with his foster siblings.  He enjoys listening to human speech, often mocking it silently.  He will agree to short petting sessions that don't go to the "being held" stage......just because he's not that kind of kitty!  Parker has minor SPECIAL NEEDS.

This beautiful big girl is full of energy, enjoys a bit of rough play and is eager to learn.  She knows sit, is kennel-trained and loves her rope toys.  Layne has an unhealthy interest in passing vehicles while on a walk so she may be a car chaser. A tall, fenced yard or a secure run is a must for her new home.

Bugsy loves people and is a curious, lively boy.  He is terrified of dogs and has been since he was little.  Enjoys laptops and the laser toy.  Fond of catnip, but never overindulges!

This wonderfully affectionate little cat had to be hand-raised along with his siblings.  As a result he loves people and turns on his purr as soon as he's picked up.  Playing with toys, other cats and snuggling with people are his favourite things.

Ivan was found in a dumpster and is a bit of a "scaredy cat". He  needs a home where he can "get away from it all".

Delia

Delia took a while to settle in to her foster home because at first she found other cats to be quite frightening.  Delia has come a long way since then and will occasionally play with another kitty. She would probably prefer to be an only cat.  She's gentle and very quiet although Delia loves to play with toys and a bit of catnip now and then. She loves attention and enjoys being nearby.  Delia's fur is incredibly soft and bunny-like making lap time a wonderful experience for both her and her person.

Deano is a bit of a cowardly lion when visitors arrive, but only until he's sure they're not a dog.  Deano is not fond of dogs at all.  Loves people though! He is a large handsome boy who would love to have his own special someone to scratch his ears.

Ginny

Foster Home Needed for Ginny

Ginny is a friendly and sweet dog once you get to know her.  She's a bit insecure around strangers, especially men and is nervous when people she doesn't know pet her-sometimes leading to barking.  She is good with kids and one of her favorite things to do is curl up on the couch with her person.  Ginny will dig in the garden and find things to get into if left alone.  She is hesitant about going in her kennel during the day, but will sleep in it at night.  She enjoys fetch and tug-o-war; plays nicely with the resident dog but can be a little rough; and knows how to sit and patiently wait for her leash to be put on.  She does well in the car and will stay where she is suppose to.  She also seems to enjoy baths.  Ginny would do well with someone who could spend a lot of time with her.  She loves the water and swimming seems to be a favorite thing for her to do.

Jade is a sweet girl with a lot of energy.  She is a tireless playmate for another dog, although will attempt to take "top spot". A less dominant dog or male would be a great match for her. Jade is eager to please her human family. Jade loves to cuddle and will sleep on the bed if you let her.  She has cat experience and will chase one in play but not to hurt.  She will "leave it" when told to.  This lively girl will be a great companion in her forever home.

Colin enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster family and is familiar with cats. He loves people and is very eager to please. He is house and kennel trained. Colin just wants to be near his family and included in whatever's going on.

Ralphie is a 19 pound lap dog who loves people, especially kids.  He enjoys walks and is great on the leash. Ralphie loves car rides and playing with his toys. He can sit, speak "sneeze" and shake a paw!  Ralphie is used to cats and likes other dogs. He needs work on learning NOT to lift his leg in the house.

From what we can determine, he's a puppy mill survivor. His behaviour indicates a lifetime spent in a kennel with little or no stimulation. Jiggs has come out of the darkness into a whole new bright busy world ! Sometimes he just becomes overloaded, tearing around the house occasionally biting and chewing on things, or even spinning in a circle.
He is doing so much better in his foster home, where his Jack Russell foster brother keeps him entertained and helps him burn off some energy in the fenced back yard. His foster parents help him control his urge to spin with gentle correction and plenty of positive attention. He's a sweet little boy who will need a special person with an abundance of patience to help him blossom into the dog he was meant to be.

Jolie is a girl with tons of personality- loving and affectionate. She's an energetic dog who loves to run and play tug of war with her rope. Jolie's well behaved indoors, house trained and the only thing  she chews on is her bone. Jolie’s not crazy about her kennel, but once she's in it, she settles in right away. Jolie gets along well with other dogs. She doesn't stray far from the house and comes when called.
