Hi, my name is Hunter. I’m a 3 month old playful black Lab cross puppy. Not to be conceited but I’m super smart and will do anything for a treat! Sometimes when I’m really good I get peanut butter and I LOVE it. I know sit and stay and I’m working on a few other commands. I’m mostly potty-trained but when it’s so cold outside I’ll have “accidents” in the house. I love to chew… but when I’m redirected with a toy I’ll stop. I love my toys! I like to play fetch with them and need them when I go to bed in my kennel. I like to get a good 6-7 hours of sleep at night (my foster parents really like that too for some reason). Hopefully I’ll find my forever home soon!

Hunter had a hard start at life being left in a dumpster in the bitter December cold to fend for herself. She is recovering from a skin condition and general neglect. She is very affectionate and loves to be around people. She loves to play with her toys, especially tug ropes. Her foster parents are teaching her commands and tricks and she is learning every day. Despite her experience with cruelty, Hunter is back on track to living the life she deserves. Happiness is a warm puppy, and a puppy that’s safe and loved.
