Meet Dapper & D’Lux

Dapper and D'Lux have been in PAWS’ care since January 2, 2024 after spending about a month in the city pound. We believe these two boys are brothers and are a very bonded pair. On arrival they were very scared and spent most of their time hiding in their kennel. Never once have they ever show any signs of aggression, and gradually were willing to accept some gentle petting from the volunteers. It has been a wonderful experience to see how they have gradually learned to trust those caring for them. They are now willing to come out of their room and roam around the facility; and even get introduced to a couple of other cats. This has all happened due to the patience and perseverance of our wonderful group of volunteers. D'Lux is the more adventurous of the two and Dapper depends on D'Lux to let him know it is all right to venture into the unknown. Everyone is enjoying the confidence they have developed. Because they depend on each other so much it is necessary that they find a forever home together. It will take a lot of gentle TLC and patience to assist these boys to become lifelong family additions; but we are sure there is a home that would provide this.
